In My Mailbox Monday (Feb 21)

Please don't forget to check out my giveaway celebrating 50 followers!

Someone just please stop my hands from ordering books! I just ordered 5 books (I think, my memory's a little blurry). But that's subject for later IMM posts, when the books actually arrive.

In My Mailbox is a weekly event exploring the books I found in my mailbox and is hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren and was inspired by Alea @ Pop Culture Junkie. To join in, please visit Kristi's blog!

I got Wake in a weak moment (yeah, I have a lot of those lately), and I'm really curious about it!

And then I finally got Maus 2, if in a combined copy with Maus 1, even though I've owned Maus 1 for quite a while now. Also, I've already read / re-read this one, so it doesn't really count, does it?

  1. I enjoyed WAke, though not as much as I expected to. Hope you like it more than I did!

  2. Looks good! I became a follower!

  3. Maus is SO good!

I'm here via Saturday Network! I love your layout :-)

  4. I have book purchasing moments of weakness too! This week I bought Heist Society but what else was I to do. It was at the store and I just couldn't help myself (okay so I looked for it at one other store first). I hope you will enjoy your books.

Here is what's in my mailbox this week.

  5. These look good! It's hard to resist getting more books, isn't it?!

    Here's mine:

  6. I loved the Maus books! They were so tragic, but so well done.

  7. Maus I/II have been on my to-read list for ages! Enjoy your new books.

  8. Nice mailbox! I really want to read Maus - I've heard it's great.

  9. Thanks everyone! I hope I will enjoy Wake, but it will be another few weeks before I get to it. I'm trying to stick to my book buying rule and finish up the books I bought in January first. Tomorrow is March 1st, and in theory, I was supposed to have them all finished by now ;-)

As for Maus, I finished that one already, against my rules, but I was just too happy to finally have the 2nd book so I could know how the story ended.
