Military Challenge 2009

There are so many books out there that somehow are about Military. Be it a book with one of the main characters a military man (like Susan Brockman's Troubleshooter series, among many others), one about the wives (for example Tanya Biank's Army Wives: The Unwritten Code of Military Marriages), a book on the military in any way, even non-fiction (I'm thinking of Claudia J. Kennedy's Generally Speaking, to name one).
So why not try to read two or more of them?

When?
The challenge will start January 1, 2009 and end December 31, 2009.

How?
The goal is to read 2+ books about the military in any way in 2009, that's it. It's fairly easy, I think.

To sign up, please leave a comment here with a link to your blog post.

  2. Count me in. I will make my own button. (I use the picture gadget at Blogger; save a picture to my picture file, use the challenge blog's link, put it all together on a picture gadget and I have a button)

  3. Sure I'll count you in, Judy :) I don't have a button for that one yet. I'm not really good with creating buttons, I'm afraid.

  6. I should have done a post right away, I wasn't even sure I had signed up! I feel official now I've got a post up.

My challenge page is here and there is a link at the top of my sidebar.

I made a graphic, I hope you like it. It's airplanes and I know not all military is flight but most of us will recognize the Navy's Blue Angels, even if it's the Air Force's Thunderbirds ;-)

This is a picture of the Blue Angels, from their official site.
