I've received some wonderful and some not so nice comments about this book because of the subject matter. I'm glad you could see it for what it was. Two ordinary people struggling to overcome their problems.<br><br>Avery does get his own story. It's call A Military Match, also from Steeple Hill.<br><br>Just a bit of trivia for you and anyone who enjoyed reading about The Commanding General's Mounted Color Guard, the men and their horse of this unique unit will be marching in the inagurial parade Jan 20 in Washington DC. I only write reviews I mean and with Military Daddy it was so easy to write a positive review.<br><br>I think there aren't many books out there that show how ordinary people struggle to overcome their problems - or they show it in a way that is so over the top it's barely readable. <br><br>I'm glad I found Military Daddy because it is a great read! And that Avery gets his own story is good news :-) I'll make sure to buy it for my birthday in April!<br><br>Unfortunately I missed out on The Commanding General's Mounted Color Guard at the inaugural parade.
